Hi!My model deals with timeofuse electricity price P[t].It aims to find the right time to use a given amount of electricity so that the cost is minimized.
The dvars are:
StartTime[n],EndTime[n]
The objective:
minimize sum(t in StartTime[n]..EndTime[n]) (price[t]*Power);
The Problem is:
CPLEX(default) can't extract model: minimize sum(t in StartTime[n]..EndTime[n]) (price[t]*Power);
It seems that for sum(t in x..y) (...) , x and y cannot be dvar.
Can anybody suggest me some alternatives?
Best Regards.

20121122T16:59:08Z in response to SystemAdminHello,
In the expression "sum(t in StartTime[n]..EndTime[n])" what is n? If it is not a constant this will not work. And it actually can not be a constant because it is an index in "StartTime[n],EndTime[n]" definition.
Can be helpful if you post the whole code.
