Pinned topic ISA 5 beta 2 : Can you filter a range/set of messages not to be shown ?

I have a customer who knows that a set of application messages always exist in the log files. They do not mind these messages to be processed during the Scan facility but they wish to NOT show them in the Symptoms tab or Global Knowledge Bases Matches tab. They want to see only the important set of error/warning messages that are important. Can the Filter field have wildcards and boolean logic to achieve this ?

The filter does inclusive filtering, which means only items matching the filter string will be included in the views and everything else is excluded.
However, if the customer has a well defined set of messages that are considered un-important, we would like to know about those so we can adjust our ranking configuration to have these messages show at the bottom of the list.
