Is it possible to make all background dojox.mobile based controls (in this case it would be a ScrollableView, Heading, and RoundRectList) modal whenever a dojox.mobile.overlay is shown?
In other words, I want to mimic the behavior of the iPhone mailbox, in that when you open a particular mail item and then choose to delete it, a native "overlay" window slides up from the bottom w the delete and cancel buttons, all while other controls are disabled but dimmed and visible.

Re: Is it possible to make dojox.mobile.overlay modal?2012-11-20T09:00:34Z in response to SystemAdminHi,
You should just set the height of the Overlay widget so that it covers the whole screen, this should be enough to prevent touch events from reaching the other widgets. You can also set the opacity of the overlay so that you can see other widgets through it.
Hope that helps,
