IEE479W MASTER SCHEDULER ABEND 0A0, DUMPED, REIPL - * CODE 1Z
IEA045I AN SVC DUMP HAS STARTED AT TIME=07.34.41
  • ERROR ID = SEQ00001 CPU00 ASID0001 TIME07.34.41.6
  • QUIESCE = YES
07.34.42 IEA794I SVC DUMP HAS CAPTURED:DUMPID=001 REQUESTED BY JOB (*MASTER*)
DUMP TITLE=ERROR IN INITIATOR,ABEND=0A0,COMPON=INIT,COMPID=SC1B 6,ISSUER=IEFIB620

The IPL throws this message when starting up mainframe. I am not too familiar with how things work with mainframe other than to follow the guide to start the vm. Any help regarding this issue will be very helpful. I tried '01,D' with no success.

This abend indicates a problem with the MASTER address space during IPL. Without looking at the dump I can't say for sure what the exact problem is, however, this is a VERY unusual error and one I have not seen before with RDz-UT or RD&T. I would guess you probably have an issue with one or more of your system volumes. My recommendation would be to go back to the media and unzip the system volumes and reinstall. Make sure to follow the guidelines in the redbook that describe this process.
