I have another query.
In our environemt, on some of the LPARs,product IBM DB2 Enterprise Server Edition PVU Option version 9.7 is installed and on some other LPARs only client version of the product is installed.However, during aggregation and inventory building,ILMT doesn't differentiate between the real install and client install and assign the client install to the same product and we have to manually mark the client to be a client install.Is their a way by which ILMT automatically differentiate between the client and real install?
We are working on ILMT 220.127.116.11
To mention,the component ILMT discovered is IBM DB2 Enterprise Server Edition - CPU Option,9.7

Unfortunately there is no way for 7.2.2 ILMT to automatically differentiate between the client and real install if the detected component is in fact the same component. Simply ILMT calculated that the best potential product matching for such component is 'IBM DB2 Enterprise Server Edition PVU Option server' product and always when 'IBM DB2 Enterprise Server Edition - CPU Option,9.7' component will be discovered by any of the agents it will be by default bundle to this server product.
The automated bundling algorithms were significantly improved in 7.5 tool version, so it is possible that upgrade to ILMT 7.5 version will help you with that, but I can not guarantee that.

Aren't you interested in taking complementary free on-line training regarding ILMT functionality? These are self-paced classes so you can take any module you want at a given time. If yes, just follow the instruction related to SPVC paragraph from here:

I have another query:
If on a agent I run a software scan on Nov5,2012 and then after few days later I generate an audit report covering time period Nov6-Nov7,2012.Will this report have the newly discovered products for the agent on which I ran scan on Nov5,2012?
I am new to ILMT and am trying to clear many of my confusions.
