Pinned topic 'SET' in Non-Dimenstional Report Author Development

‏2012-11-19T13:28:29Z |
Friends,
I used SET() in a data item when I needed to collect certain values into one Group.
Now, I need to know how to do below but since SET isn't available in non-Dimentional Heirarch.
Here is an example of what SET() did for me in the past.
In a Data Item called A_TYPE,
set(
dsCube.Media.TYP_CD->:PC.@MEMBER.20,
dsCube.Media.TYP_CD->:PC.@MEMBER.21
)
Now, I need to do the same non-Dimentional Heirarchy.
I have values 1 and A that needs to be assigned as A_TYPE
or values 2 and B that needs to be assinged in the search as B_TYPE
Thx in advance for your time.

    You could get away with an if or case when statement.

    {code}
    if (DateItem in (A,1) then (Type a)
    else if (DateItem] in (B,2) then (Type b)
    else
    (No Type)

    {Code}
