Pinned topic Deactivated Snapshots active again? With reboot... [7.2]

‏2012-11-19T12:03:40Z |
After I have installed a package on the server, migrate in flight data to the new package, uncheck all exposing in the old package, make the new default, deactivate the old and check all exposing in the new packege, I reboot the server (stopLombardi.sh & startLombardi.sh)

One would expect that all instances will run under the new package and the old (or even older) packages will not return any more...

But the next day I look in the Process Admin, under Installed Apps and the old package is back again!

At first I thought an instance in a timer could be the cause here, or an user that had an instance active under the old package or an UCA is the cause, but I was told that the reboot of the server makes sure that none of this is the case.

But my Process Admin shows it is still active!

Any ideas?

Are you exposing any Web Services from your solution? If so, what URL are the callers using?

Any time based UCAs? If so make sure they are deactive. This "zombie" behavior is ususally do to something on the old snapshot being executed. 7.5.1 fixed this problem where the called item would execute, but the snapshot would not reactivate.
