Pinned topic NoSuchMethodError occurs when invoking MbElement.getDOMNode()

‏2012-11-19T08:33:43Z |
Hi all,

I'm using Message Broker Toolkit v8.0.0.1 to implement a flow containing a Java Compute Node. My Java Compute Node works fine in my local v8.0.0.1 broker runtime. However, after I deployed my flow into a remote v8.0.0.0 broker runtime, NoSuchMethodError would occur in the line of MbElement.getDOMNode() invocation.

Therefore, I'd like to confirm if MbElement.getDOMNode() is not available in a v8.0.0.0 broker runtime? If yes, is there any way, except to upgrade the remote runtime to v8.0.0.0, that I could avoid this error?

Thanks!

Jude

Oops, there was a typo in my previous post. I meant to say "If yes, is there any way, except to upgrade the remote runtime to v8.0.0.1, that I could avoid this error?"

Okay, I think I has found the answer. The Javadoc bundled with Message Broker v8.0.0.0 doesn't have MbElement.getDOMNode() defined, so I think my only option is to upgrade the remote MB to v8.0.0.1.
