I recently purchased an XS40 hoping I could studying use my own device. The device came with no longin name or password. The model is 9002. I've contacted IBM and they want nothing to do with this model. Any suggestions on how I can get it configured?

Re: DataPower XS40 Appliace Model 90022012-11-19T10:34:54Z in response to SystemAdminHi,
The 9002 is no longer supported. To ship it to IBM to perform an admin password reset, it would require a service contract, which no longer exist for 9002s.
You can try to recover the password using the steps listed in our admin password technote
It may be the default admin/admin combination, if the person who sold it reset the device to factory defaults.
I hope this helps.
