Pinned topic Accessing DB2 in zos using javascript

‏2012-11-16T04:26:08Z |
I am using javascript to fetch data from DB2 on zos. But am getting as follows,

Webpage error details
Message: MicrosoftODBC Driver Manager Data source name not found and no default driver specified

the conenction string am using is

strConn="Driver={IBM DB2 ODBC DRIVER};Database=XXXX;Hostname=xxx;Port=xxx;Protocol=TCPIP;Uid=xxx;Pwd=yyy;";
I have also tried to use Java applet to fetch the data, it is also not working and I could not figure out what problem is as there is no exception or log data.

Has anyone tried to fetch data from DB2(or other data bases in zos) using javascript, kindly help us.

    This does not seem to be related to Worklight (Worklight 5.0 does not support z/OS) - maybe you would have more chance having this answered on the DB2 on z/os forum ?

    Thanks

      Francois,

      Thanks for your reply.

      Sorry for leaving these details:

      I am developing a worklight app using Worklight Enterprise edition in windows.

      We are using Worklight 5.0.0.2. In your post, you have mentioned that worklight 5.0 does not support z os.If you have any reference or proof that states this do let me know.

      Thanks for the redirection, I will raise the question in the DB2 forum also for getting the program related doubts.
