Pinned topic DataPower caches WTX map ?

‏2012-11-14T07:14:14Z |
We are using DataPower XI50 version 5.0.0.1 . I made some modifications of the WTX map (.dpa), then upload and override the previous one with the same name. However, it seems that DataPower cached the previous version and totally ignore the new WTX (.dpa) map file until I change the file name.

How did I disable such caching behavior ?

How is your document cache policy of your service's xml manager configured?

I created my own XML manager which is the same as default one so Document Cache Policy is empty.

I even restarted the domain, flush Document Cache and delete from File management and reloaded it. As long as the name of WTX map (.dpa) is the same as the previous one, it is executing the previous way.

I changed the file name and its corresponding entry in the policy then it is fine. As if DP permanently remember that old name .dpa file in the policy.

Please try to flush the Stylesheet Cache of your XML Manager after having uploaded .dpa file with same name:

Also, how do you upload and overwrite the .dpa file?

    Hi,

I have the same issue but did you find the solution to this issue? It is very annoying to change the file name and entry in policy everytime I need to get a new copy of dpa file. We have xi50 firmware 5.0.

Has a PMR been opened for this problem?  I don't see anything in the stylesheet cache so if you don't have the .dpa file itself in the document cache, I don't have any other ideas to assist you.

    Regards,
