Sorry I posted the last question prematurely

the desired output is as follows

    REQID1 reqtext1.....PASS
    PASS

    REQID2 reqtext2.....PASS
    PASS

But I am getting the following

    REQID1 reqtext1....PASS
    PASS
    REQID1 reqtext2....PASS
    PASS
How do I skip columns in formating the output so that the resulting excel report is correclty aligned?
    rgds

Sorry again., the formatting did not display correctly.

the desired output is as follows

      REQID1 reqtext1..... PASS
      \t \t PASS

      REQID2 reqtext2..... PASS
      \t \t PASS

where \t skips a cell in excel.
