We have a requirement to use Microsoft sharepoint as the document repository. I understand that ICM stores all documents in FileNet Content Manager. Would it be possible to use Sharepoint as the ECM system instead of Filenet?

Re: Can we use Microsoft Sharepoint as ECM instead of Filent?2012-11-07T14:25:51Z in response to SystemAdminCase Manager requires an underlying FileNet repository to store case-specific constructs. We do provide an integration to CM8 that enables CM8 content to be used in cases and as the store for case-related documents.
If you want to store case-related documents in a different repository, then you will have to build a connector to do this and will have to work out how to move the required artifacts into/out of the Sharepoint repository.
