I just installed DB2 LUW 9.7 Fix Pack 7 on a Windows 2008 R2 SP1 server to fix an issue with Data Studio not recognizing that the database manage was running (32-bit connection was corrected in an earlier Fix Pack).
I am trying to run some programs that are not running correctly under Windows 2008 R2. The programs used to run correctly on a Windows 2003 server (and LUW 8.2), so I changed the Compatibity Mode on the programs accordingly.
When the Compatibility mode is changed to be compatible with Windows 2003, the program is giving an SQL1032N saying that the database manger is not started. That is certainly not the case.
Has anyone experienced this problem? Is there a solution to allow a program running in Compatibility mode to connect to DB2 LUW 9.7 correctly?
