Pinned topic IID 7.5 install fails in Redhat Linux environment.

‏2012-11-04T20:34:46Z |
Has anyone installed IID 7.5 in any Linux environment. Yes .. please provide any pointers to a successful install. Linux flavor and any other tricks used.

I have been trying to install for almost 3 weeks now and failing on DB2 Express install. BTW, it is not a user id problem. In the Install Manager log files, I noticed this error.

Any help would be appreciated.

    I have IID v7.5 running successfully on RHEL v6 - 64-bit

I have a slightly different setup to you in that I installed against an already existing DB2 installation.

Just a point to note, IID doesn't need a database to install but the test environment does.

I see you have a segmentation fault in the db2 setup process. Maybe you should try installing that separately and debugging that. I'm assuming you have the correct pre-req libraries installed?

Not sure this has anything to do with the install of WID.

Maybe you want to start a new post and explain a little bit more about what you're doing and what's not working
