Pinned topic Inserting in a table at the preprocessing step

‏2012-10-29T20:44:55Z |
Is this possible to do an insert in a table during the preprocessing step (before I start to charge the data with DBRead).

In other word, I want to do an INSERT with DBUpdate before I start to do DBRead. I will use the insert information in some view that I will use in the DBRead.

Thank you,

    The solution is to use DBRead with an INSERT statment:

    {int} aSet=...;

    aSet from DBRead(THE_CONNECTION, "INSERT INTO THE_TABLE( COLUMN_1, COLUMN_2) \
      VALUES  (:prm1, :prm2)")(prm1, prm2);

    The aSet is a dummy set of int that I ignore.
