Pinned topic Import Orchestrate Schema error: Could not load "orchoracle":

‏2012-10-24T16:48:30Z |
Hi All,

I am using IIS 8.7 on Linux RH5.5 (actually is CentOS 5.5) and Oracle 11g.
Have already set my install.liborchoracle to "see" the 11th version and run the script successfully.

So, problem is that when I try to import orchestrate schema of a 11g database table, a windows pop-up with the following error:

##I IIS-DSEE-TFCN-00006 14:48:25(001) <main_program> conductor uname: -s=Linux; -r=2.6.18-238.el5; -v=#1 SMP Thu Jan 13 15:51:15 EST 2011; -n=deiis87; -m=x86_64
##E IIS-DSEE-TCDB-00004 14:48:25(002) <main_program> Unable to access database oracleLibrary orchoracle could not be loaded; Could not load "orchoracle": cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.
I believe that the cause is that DS Engine is looking up for a 10 or 10g driver which does not exist since I am using 11g.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this or already have come into the error and fixed ?

    I think you already fix this :) But I want to add comment for future searches...

    You must add in /opt/IBM/InformationServer/Server/DSEngine/dsenv file next variable:

    if [ -z "$ORACLE_HOME" ]

          ORACLE_HOME=/u01/oracle/product/11.2.0/client_1; export ORACLE_HOME

    And you must modify LIBPATH variable by adding "/u01/oracle/product/11.2.0/client_1/lib"

    NOTE: ALL Paths is default for UNIX systems.

    After you edit dsenv file, you must reboot engine and app tires.
