Pinned topic Including an enumareted attribute in Word export but removing hard return

‏2012-10-24T12:57:04Z |
I am exporting several attributes that make up a paragraph in my word document. One of the attributes is an enumerated attribute. When the enumerated attribute exports when ever it exports a value it is followed by a return so if there are multiple values selected in that attribute the para looks like this:

This is my example para just before I get to the enumerated value of something. Enum Value 1
Enum Value 2
Enum Value 3

I would really like the para to look like this instead:

This is my example 2 para just before I get to the enumerated value of something. Enum Value 1, Enum Value 2 Enum Value 3

I am trying to use a script in the data formatting are that removes the return but it is not working. Frankly I am not even sure if DOORS passes a hard return or if Word inserts that hard return. Anyone know how I can accomplish the example 2?

    Hey Chris,

    assuming your enume attribute is "enumX" than the following JavaScript code should will do what you need in RPE 1.1.2.2

    enumX.replace(/\n/g,
    ",");
