Pinned topic Installing OPM V5.1.1.1: No valid registered DB2 installation is found

‏2012-10-23T09:50:57Z |
Dear experts,

Need your help on this case. I was trying to do OPM V5.1.1.1 installation on Windows 7 Prof 64 bit.

Get my db2 ESE 10.1 up and running with default instance DB2 port 50000. License type is restricted

When running OPM V5.1.1.1 installer, it keeps saying "No valid registered DB2 installation is found on this computer. The installation cannot continue".

Any suggestion for this case ?

hi, discussion about this took place outside of the forum with LeBuiHung.
The problem in this case was, that a 32 bit DB2 was installed on this Windows 64 bit system.
Therefore the 64 bit OPM installer complained about not finding a valid DB2 installation. After uninstalling DB2 and installing a 64 bit DB2 it worked.
