Pinned topic Why is Validator complaining about JQuery Mobile?

‏2012-10-12T17:28:43Z |
1. Start a new project
2. Either import JQuery Mobile js during setup or drag and drop once open.
3. Begin seeing error messages that pop-up every twenty seconds.
4. Open main HTML file and see a huge message that says response cannot be parsed, please contact support.

Env:

Eclipse Indigo (latest), WL v. 5.0.3, ClearCase Remote Client, WinXP with i5,

JQuery:
jquery-1.8.2.min.js
jquery.mobile-1.2.0.min.js

Errors occurred during the build.
Errors running builder 'JavaScript Validator' on project 'appNinja4'.

Does worklight not support minified files? Should we use non-minified and then compress after?

The JavaScript validator is an Eclipse thing (not part of Worklight).

You can (and probably should) disable JavaScript validator for third-party code (unless you plan to edit those files).

Right click on your Worklight Project > Properties > JavaScript > Include Path > Source (Tab) > Selected 'Excluded:" > Edit (Button) > Under Exclusion Patterns click Add... (Button) > Select third-party JS files that you won't modify like jQuery Mobile.

Just performed these steps a few minutes ago and verified them to be working.
