After not using Streams Studio for a period, it came up with small red x's on the project names in the Project Explorer and would not respond to my mouse clicks (using vncviewer). After several attempts at restarting Eclipse, I finally saw a pop up that asked me to enter the Infosphere Streams install directory name. After than the red x's disappeared and I was able to open projects, etc. However shortly after that, Eclipse died and I have been unable to bring it up again. When I try to start it, I receive this msg:
log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger (com.ibm.distillery.dfe.DFE).
log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly.
Can someone explain what happened? Do I need to uninstall and reinstall Eclipse and the Studio or can something else be done to restore Eclipse?

Re: Streams Studio - need help resolving errors with Streams Studio2012-10-10T14:37:40Z in response to aronsokCan you attach the following:
1) The error log file: <workspace>/.metadata/.log
2) Your Eclipse configuration: Help -> About Eclipse SDK -> Installation Details -> Configuration
- In the configuration window, copy and paste the text to a file.
