I am performing change passwords operation on a Person through ITIM 5.0 FP 11. When I submit the request I see that, even though all the sub-requests for "Change Account Password" have completed with Success and Warning, but still the main root request "Change Password for Multiple Accounts" remains in pending state and never completes.
Ideally, the root request should complete with Warning status and should not remain in Pending state forever.
Can any one please shed some light on how to avoid the ITIM request from remaining in Pending state forever when all the sub-requests have completed ?

Have you done any workflow customization to changePassword operation of any resource? If yes, are you sure that the customized workflow is completing without error and it is setting process result and result detail correctly?
Check ITIM trace and msg logs for any error / exception.
