DS4700 dual controllers.
Fiber 4GB connection to qlogic/mcdata in back of a H chassis.
I looked on the switch and it says the link is 4GB.
However you can see in my attachment the current rate is only 2Gbps

The DS4700 is connected by the Host-channels (these are probably 4 GB as the switch is telling you),
your screen-shot is off the drive channels, and these are 2 GB..
Host-channels connect the DS to the host (servers)
Drive channels are for the internal harddrives

One other thing. I go to Monitor Performance and get an error saying it can't monitor any controller.
I'm connected via ethernet and can manage the storage system just fine with the Ds manager
