    This is an iOS6 issue that we are currently looking into for an upcoming release. Currently there isn't a workaround for this.

    It's a known Apache Cordova 2.0.0 (the version shipped with Worklight) issue with iOS6/Xcode 4.5, here's a relevant thread:

      *Replace 2.0.0 with 1.6 above. Worklight 5.0.0.3 ships with 1.6. However, the issue is present until Apache Cordova 2.1.0.

    Hi,

    We have the same orientation issue with iOS 6.

    Our appliction runs on tablet. The orientation is locked in landscape mode. We use this configuration on iOS in the file "ReZervMobileRezervIpad-Info.plist" :
    <key>UISupportedInterfaceOrientations</key>
    <array>
    <string>UIInterfaceOrientationLandscapeLeft</string>
    <string>UIInterfaceOrientationLandscapeRight</string>
    </array>
    <key>UISupportedInterfaceOrientations~ipad</key>
    <array>
    <string>UIInterfaceOrientationLandscapeLeft</string>
    <string>UIInterfaceOrientationLandscapeRight</string>
    </array>

    It works fine on iOS 5.1 but with iOS 6, we have an orientation issue : the application is locked in landscape mode in the web container but not in the native shell. So the application is unusable: a part of the screen is not displayed.

    This issue seems to be resolved within Cordova 2.1.0
    https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-1182

    Currently, we are unable to deliver the application to our client.

      There are a couple of issues with Cordova and iOS6, as mentioned above, that we are aware of and working on.

        Camera functionality is not working after building the code in XCode 4.5. Niether on the actual device nor on the simulator. Is anyone else having the same issue? Using WL 5.2 which ships with Cordova 1.6. We tested it on the earlier version of XCode and camera and gallery functionality worked fine with iOS 5.1. Camera works fine with andriod simulator as well as the device.

    A new Interim Fix has been released to address issues with Xcode 4.5 and iOS 6. Please see http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27036435 for more information.
