Pinned topic Adding a New System Property

‏2012-10-03T19:06:00Z |

I have a Jython Script that I created that I have not put into our production environment yet. What I'd like to do is create a new System property that defaults to a 0 but can be changed to a 1. And then add code to the script that tells the script to not run if the system property is set at zero and to run if it is set at 1. Is this possible? First, I have never created a system property before and couldn't find any instruction on how to do that. But I think that if I can create a new system property, then I can figure out how to modify the script to include the new system property.

Please help!!!!!

Yes you can, just go to system properties, press New row and fill in the required info.
