Pinned topic Is App_ReportsMenuUpdate an Event?

‏2012-10-02T16:01:00Z |
Is App_ReportsMenuUpdate an event? It's in the help documentation for modifying menus and reads like it's an SA event. But I haven't been able to figure out how this event is raised. I have put in code to call it and that works (sort of).

If this is an event, how does it get invoked?

Thanks,
Terry

    Hi Terry,

These are the events available in System Archiect 11.4.2 API (you can check them by pressing F2 in VBA editor):

    App_DiagramSave
    App_EditDefinitionPostApply
    App_EditDefinitionPostOK
    App_EncyClose
    App_EncyOpen
    App_MainMenuUpdate
    App_ToolsMenuUpdate
    Class_Initialize
    Class_Terminate
    SetupMenu
    ShutDown

    Regards,
    Roberto.

Thanks. We haven't upgraded to 11.4.2 yet. I got the reference to ReportsMenuUpdate from the SA help facility. I found out from the LinkerIn group that the SA menu facility has been changed. Consequently this event is never raised. I suspect that the same is true for ToolsMenuUpdate.

I didn't get that list when I hit F2. I only got the list of events that my macro uses. What am I doing wrong?
