After unzip of ibm_data_studio_full_client_v311_linux.zip, and running ./setup, a browser not found message pops up.
Firefox 12 is installed under /usr/lib64/firefox, hence OpenSuse package.
export BROWSER=/usr/lib64/firefox was set. Doesn't help
then export MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME=/usr/lib64/firefox was set too. Doesn't help!
after ./setup further messages are displayed:
cp: cannot stat ‘/local/temp/launchpad/lib’: No such file or directory
cp: cannot stat ‘/local/temp/launchpad/../jre’: No such file or directory
Yes, those directories doesn't exist, but the unzip was complete, hence what?
previously the ibm_data_studio_standalone_linux_V311.tar.gz has been installed. Installation worked, but the studio could not be launched!
Is there a working version for linux available? I have the studio on windows, but some tests should be done within the VM whith DB2 10.1 Express-C which is installed in this VM and working. It's boring to switch between windows and the VW just because the installation of the data studio doesn't work!
Hint urgently required, can't loose more time. Thanks.
