Hi,

We recently started facing issue with BES computer remover tool after upgrading our BES server to version 8.2.1312
Below is the error we see in BESComputerRemover.txt log file :

ERROR: Database version incorrect. Expected versions 1.56, 1.58, 1.96, 1.97, 1.98, 1.99, 2.15, 2.16, 2.17, 2.18, 2.20, 2.21, 2.22, 2.23, 3.76, 3.77, 3.83, 3.85, 3.89 or 3.92 but the current database is Enterprise 3.96

Please let us know if there is any compatible version available and can be used.

    Would anyone please let me know if there is any new BESremover tool available with latest DB version ?

    Submitted request to Dev (# 52620) for change the computer remover tool.

    The tool is currently at version 3.0.1.123 and hosted for download here:

    The new version will be posted here once change have been made.

      Tested version 3.0.1.123 of the BESComputerRemover.exe tool and it works as expected against my database version 3.96. This doesn't look lik a bug.

          We have the same problem. For some reason the plugin service tools fixlets aren't updated with the releases of the TEM Server / Database. I just manually copied the newest BESComputerRemover-3.0.1.123.exe from the link https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/mydeveloperworks/wikis/home?lang=en#/wiki/Tivoli%20Endpoint%20Manager/page/TEM%20Utilities and manually placed in the the BESServer\Applications\BESComputerRemover folder.

          Can this be brought to the attention of QA so that when the Server / Database components are updated, the related plugin service tools are also updated or at least QA checked.

            BTW, the BESAuditTrailCleaner.exe plugin is also out of date and the fixlets have not been updated. Lovely.

    Hi ,

    i am facing the same issue while clearing the computer list in registration list . The two TEM servers in DSA mode have exceeded in registration list size to 70 MB and 100 MB. I think I am facing performance issues due to this. Please suggest is there a new version of cleaner available ?
