I am building a spec with script. A lot of things can be set to a node, but not the precission on a number node.
Is it even possible to do that or does it always default to a precission of 2?

Re: Build a spec with script, how to set a precission on a number node2012-09-25T07:15:49Z in response to SystemAdminMmm, this was not totally what i wanted :) I found the setAttribute function, so that will work, but this is my real question:
Well I do want to create a spec, but first of all i want to read a spec and get all of its nodes.
Then if it is a number node, i want to get the precission of that node. But there is no getAttribute funtion to accomplish that.
Can anybody help?

Forget all this, way too early to ask questions in the forum.
var strPrecission = nodeNumberNode.getNodeAttributeValue("PRECISION");
does exactly what i need.
So this is a closed thread already. Thank you all for reading :)
