Pinned topic Configuring Sandbox via Eclipse

‏2012-09-22T12:51:25Z |
Hi,

I am using Eclipse IDE for the development purpose. Can anybody help me in configuring Eclipse with Sandbox ? So that i can run the script for testing purpose directly from Eclipse....

Thanks a lot.

    Rocky,

As far as I know you have to just connect to your server with eclipse and that would make it possible to use the sandbox.
Keep in mind that only simple scripts can be used then to execute within eclipse.

I will try to set it up myself now and if anything strange is needed I will report back to you.

    Regards

    Rocky,

I just tested it and this is what I did.

Create a server connection to the server you want to run the sandbox script on.
After that open the properties of the project and go to 'Script Options'.
Here you select the server you want the scripts to run on.

    Use this link: http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/pim/v9r1m0/topic/com.ibm.pim.app.doc/code/java/pim_con_devstandalonejava.html
Given the extend of the set-up and related nuances involved, it would be best to open a PMR if you get stuck.
