Pinned topic LPEX Editors disappear after RDz restart

‏2012-09-18T12:34:23Z |
Hello,
in my RDz 8.5 environment, the LPEX editors disappear after a restart of RDz.
Why does this happen? Is it possible that the editors stay alive during a restart of RDz (Normal behaviour of editors in Eclipse)?

Regards
Georg

I sometimes observed this behaviour. Try to create a new workspace, a check the behaviour

Is there any more information available for this question? Is the disappearing editors expected behaviour and is there a way to configure the editors to re-open automatically? Thanks.

There is a workbench preference which controls the editors upon restart (General > Editors, Restore editor state on startup). However, this is not likely the issue, as it is enabled by default. System z LPEX will not reopen MVS files upon restart to ensure locking etc. Files that were open while debugging will also not reopen after restart. Local, z/OS UNIX, Linux on z (ie file systems that do not require locking) should keep the files open.

    Hope that helps.
