in my RDz 8.5 environment, the LPEX editors disappear after a restart of RDz.
Why does this happen? Is it possible that the editors stay alive during a restart of RDz (Normal behaviour of editors in Eclipse)?

Re: LPEX Editors disappear after RDz restart2013-03-20T19:28:30Z in response to SystemAdminIs there any more information available for this question? Is the disappearing editors expected behaviour and is there a way to configure the editors to re-open automatically? Thanks.
Re: LPEX Editors disappear after RDz restart2013-03-21T14:04:34Z in response to SystemAdminThere is a workbench preference which controls the editors upon restart (General > Editors, Restore editor state on startup). However, this is not likely the issue, as it is enabled by default. System z LPEX will not reopen MVS files upon restart to ensure locking etc. Files that were open while debugging will also not reopen after restart. Local, z/OS UNIX, Linux on z (ie file systems that do not require locking) should keep the files open.
Hope that helps.
