My product is dependent on java 1.6 and I want to create a redistributable package of jre 1.6 (For AIX 6.1 and 7.0) with my product. So customer not need to install java and he can run product with provided jre. For it I install java 1.6 on AIX machine and copy jre folder from there to some other folder. Now when I run jre/bin/java -version it not return any result. Is it possible on AIX to run java from some other folder?
