Pinned topic Externally linking to a sequence diagram in Rational Rhapsody?

‏2012-09-03T13:50:08Z |
Hello,

Is it possible to make a link in Microsoft Word to a particular diagram in IBM Rational Rhapsody for Software Architect, so when someone clicks that link a specific rpy file is opened right at a desired diagram?
It is needed to refer to different diagrams throughout our document, and using a screenshot is not a good choice because every time the referred diagram is update, the Word document must be updated too

Regards,
Dragi

Have you considered generating documents from the model.
You could have placeholders in the doc and have Rational Publishing Engine extract the model information into them.

      Hello Vipsy,

Do you know how can I use Rational Publishing Engine to extract model information into an existing Word document? I managed only to create a new document, but not to update an existing one. If you can provide me a link to a document/web page describing this, it will be great. I tried searching, I could not find this.

      Regards,
      Dragi
