Pinned topic Backup, Users limits, Log file

‏2012-08-31T09:38:54Z |
I have a problem with automatic backup. I cannot get it to work.

I would like for each user to connect with database with his own ID and password. What kind of "rights" do those users have to have so that he has no limits/restriction while working with the database. Is the number of users limited?

Is there an option/feature that creates LOG file for each user individualy?

    Hello,

Here is a link to a "getting started" page for automatic maintenance (runstats, reorg, and backup) :

    http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/data/library/techarticle/dm-0801ganesan/

Be aware that it is not possible to enable the automatic backup feature to produce compressed backups.
