We are having a .Net application which is accessing the DB2 and we have a separate web service built up for that purpose so that our architecture will be as like: End User -> Web Service -> DB2.
When we are trying to connect to DB2 thro' web service, sometimes connectivity seems to be very slow and consider a situation where we are supposed to fetch a huge amount of data from the dB, say for eg. 20000 rows, it is taking a very long time to get the result set.
Is there any way to check/improve this?
Presently we are using the below kind of Connection String to connect to dB:
Could you please help me on the above question?
Your help is greatly appreciated!
