Pinned topic How the cluster management works with liberty profile?

‏2012-08-23T15:21:04Z |
We downloaded WAS 8.5 with liberty profile trial version. There is no cluster function there. How the cluster management works with this Liberty Profile? Does dmgr server can manage it? Thanks.

The WebSphere Application Server Liberty profile v8.5 is a highly composable, fast to start, dynamic application server runtime environment. Although the Liberty profile can installed alongside the WebSphere Application Server full profile, Liberty functions completely separate from all other applications servers on your machine.

The Liberty profile cannot be managed by a deployment manager.
The Liberty profile does not support clustering.

I recommend reading about Liberty in the Information Center to familiarize yourself with the new type of application server.

I was informed that the hyperlinks to the Information Center articles I recommended are not working. Here is a set of corrected hyperlinks that work.
