Pinned topic Recurring automatic update in ISA v4.1?

‏2012-08-22T21:00:06Z |
I keep getting the same automatic update in ISA. When I accept & apply it, then restart ISA, looks like the update never got applied and it appears again as an automatic update. What’s wrong?

I’m currently running ISA v4.1.2.00, build 101123-1186.
The update would be for v4.1.3.20120718-1715.

    Hi Steve,

If this is running on Windows 7, this would be a known issue.

The workbench in Windows 7 must be started with admin privileges. When you apply updates, do not allow the workbench to restart the system. Instead, shutdown the workbench then reboot manually. Once the system is restarted, start the workbench again with admin privileges. This should allow the updates to complete sucessfully.

Please let me know if this resolves your issue.

    Thanks,

Yes, I'm running only the Workbench under Windows 7. Your suggestion worked. Thanks!
