Pinned topic Table of Content - Header pages

‏2012-08-20T22:33:30Z |
Hello,

Anyone knows how to remove header page information from TOC. Please see the attached picture. I would like my TOC start from Section 1 of the document. Not from the title of of the document.

Thank you very much.

    Hi Jester,
I may be wrong but check the word styles applied to "Copy of Instructions" and "RPE" - I think they will be set to style "Heading1" rather than "Title"

Also check your style sheet and see what the Toc levels are reporting on by default

      Chris,
Thank you for taking time to look into this.

I checked the both of the items are defined as Title and sub title in template. I have not specified anything in the stylesheet specifically. Not sure why itis behaving this way.

      Thanks

I removed the title and subtitle and used text elements to format the title page that removed the it from TOC.

    Hey Jester,

one possible explanation is that you have used a Heading style for your title and subtitle or that those styles are based on a Heading style. If you upload your template and Word stylesheet, if you use one, I'll be able to tell more .

    Regards,

      Thanks Dragos.

I had checked the styles and they were "Title and SubTitle".

I have resolved this issue other ways as I mentioned in earlier post.

      Regards
