Pinned topic Variable values don't display in output

‏2012-08-15T22:20:57Z |
Greetings All,

I am building the RPE templates for DOORS. I created variables and assigned them but they don't display (value) in the document.

1> I declare a variable - internal variable
2> Create a container in the main template
3> Add the module (DOORS Module)to container
4> Assign the variable to Module name
5> Assign the variable to header cell in the master page.
6> Save and run the doc.

What am i missing?

Thanks for your help.

    Explicitly assign the master page before assigning the variable.

    Container with module query and master page set. Then another container with a variable script condition:

    if variable ==
    ""

    Assign variable on the container with the script condition.

    It was just weird that I had to move the container with variable to the top of the template and varible value displayed in header. You may have to do the same for footer.
