Pinned topic Test Conductor - No Relation found Error

‏2012-08-09T19:53:16Z |
Hi,

I created a test architecture on a class A , which in turn becomes the SUT called 'itsA'.
On creating a test case, and executing the test case, it immediately throws a pop-up saying 'No relation named itsA found'.

Have worked on Test conductor before, and unable to resolve this error. On analysing the code, it fails to create the instance for this object. Can anyone please give pointers to what could be wrong?

Regards,
Ranjini

    Hi Ranjini,

which version of Rhapsody are you using?

This error message can have different reasons, can you attach your model?

    Thanks, Christian.

    Hi Christian,

Due to confidentiality, I will not be able to attach the model.
    Rhapsody build version is 7.5.2.

I could attach a screenshot of the error.

    Hi,

this might be related to the CG scope (instance is used during test but does not exist in application) or animation scope (instance is not animated); a screen shot of the error message would be helpful. Maybe you can also add a screen shot of the sequence diagram specifying the test.

    Regards, Christian.

    Hi

    I am facing same error.

I am attaching the scrrenshot, I am currently using Rhapsody 7.6.

    itsA.abc()

I also tried debugging the code. itsA object has a valid address and on further debugging, it also get into class A and operation it points to.

Could you help me to solve this problem. ?

    Hi,

if you close all open sequence diagrams and make sure no animated SD is created, does the error message pop up again?

If yes, can you attach the model? Or a screen shot from the SD of the test?

    Regards, Christian.

    Hi,

Yes, if we close all open sequence diagrams and make sure no animated SD is created, the error message pop up again.

I would not be able to attach the model, but i am attaching the screen shot from the SD of the test.

    Hi,

    are you using partial animation?

When the application is running, please check if there is an instance of TCon_BasicStats.itsBasicStats.

    Regards, Christian.
