I'm using the IBM.Data.DB2 provider with C#/.NET 3.5
When i try to insert a string value to a column of int datatype(mismatch of datatypes),it is crashing the system.
Error Code = 22005 (Error in assignment) exception and after some time program is getting hang /Crash and throws Function Sequence Error..
But the application is working(i.e it is not crashing the system) when run on the same server in which DB2 Data Center is installed.
So the issue comes when we are running it in machines where client drivers are installed.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong.Drivers were downloaded from IBM DB2 site.
There are many processes running. So we dont want to crash the application because of this issue.
Thanks in advance!

Re: DB2 driver 9.5 issue-Inserting String to INT type column2012-08-10T13:04:28ZThis is the accepted answer. This is the accepted answer.Hi,
Could you paste "db2level" output from client (where client drivers are installed) and server (DB2 Data Center) to have the exact information about Product, Version, Release and Fixpack?
Please provide the operations and theirs order, you are exercising. We see you are expecting "Error Code = 22005 (Error in assignment) exception" and after catching that, what's the next step?
Thanks and regards,
