Pinned topic duplicate IP found during HW Move

‏2012-08-06T12:37:59Z |
Hi all,
we are in process to move many lpars (AIX) to new hardware. This we do with a process developed together with IBM. So far so good. But on two lpars we could see this with the startrpdomain command:

...Cannot start or refresh. IP address duplicated in configuration file....

in syslog and in errpt you can see this:

LABEL: TS_CTIPDUP_ER
IDENTIFIER: C900C824

Date/Time: Sat Jul 28 16:50:22 2012
Sequence Number: 243873
Machine Id: 00C99AF04C00
Node Id: gxpb2101
Class: S
Type: PERM
WPAR: Global
Resource Name: cthats

Description
Cannot start or refresh. IP address duplicated in configuration file

Probable Causes
Same IP address appears more than once on the system

Install Causes
The repository indicates that same IP address appears more than once on the system

Recommended Actions
Verify and remove the duplication

Detail Data
DETECTING MODULE
rsct,config.C,1.168.4.16,2158
ERROR ID
6YUA.71ikz2E/.PO1fhJE8....................
REFERENCE CODE

The node number where IP address duplication occurs
3
The duplicated IP address
10.65.90.104

The question is: which configuration file is responsable? There was definitely no duplicate IP at that time!

Regards
Rüdiger
