Pinned topic Trial of VMcontrol Ent after using Express

‏2012-08-01T14:25:22Z |
Hello,

I've had VMControl express 2.4 installed and now expired as the 90 days is up.

Is it possible to enable VMControl Enterprise for another 90 days as we wish to test the integration with TPC for Disk?
Thanks

Glenn

I'm not sure I understand the question. VMControl Express Edition doesn't require any license keys. When you install IBM Systems Director 6.3, it also installs VMControl (and Active Energy Manager and Service and Support Manager). Once you "activate" VMControl, you get Enterprise Edition functionality for 90-days. Once the 90-day trial period expires, it reverts to Express Edition functionality.

Given this, it sounds like you want to extend the VMControl Enterprise Edition trial for another 90-days. If this is a correct assumption, please have your IBM Sales Specialist, FTSS, or CTSS contact me, and I'll see what we can make happen.

      Got it.

Problem is the customer activated it back in January . . . and then hasn't done anything with it.

      Thanks for clarifying this.
