I need to receive a XML over http and send it again the same i.e xml over http.
The problem is: I need to send authentication credentials to service provider, and get the session id.
Once the session id is obtained, that should be part of payload for subsequent messages.
The Service requestor will not send the auth credentials! I need to embed it from ESB i.e WID.
Can anyone help how to achieve this.

This is the accepted answer.Probably you've solved this already but you can pull the security princpal from the context and forward this on. Although this assumes you're able to pass some token such as an LTPA token to your downstream server.

In the HTTP import properties, under 'Advanced Configuration' on the Security tab there is a place where you can set the JAAS account to be used. The JAAS account to be used should be set in the 'Basic authentication alias' text box.
