I recently downloaded IBM Cognos Express 9.5 evaluation version and using report studio to build and
run simple reports. I noticed that I was not able to run the reports by selecting menu items from the "Run" menu via Firefox(version 14.0). However, I could run the report by clicking "Run" option from the toolbar.I could see the menu items when I move mouse over the "Run" menu, but when I select the option it would do nothing.Actually, none of the menus work like "Data", "Structure", "Table" etc.
Then I tried the report studio using IE(version 9.0) and there was absolutely no issue.
I could use all the "Menu" items and other menus as well.
My OS version is Windows 7 Enterprise edition, service Pack 1.
This Cognos Express 9.5 is compatible with both 32-bit and 64-bit windows 7.
I am wondering if any of you have experienced this issue before.
I am doing a evaluation of this product for my office and I will really appreciate your response.
