Pinned topic Basic Edition Flume not starting

‏2012-07-23T12:07:26Z |
Hello all, I have successfully installed basic edition 1.4 Centos. All ports and nodes are healthy and working. However when I log out and log back in I can not start Flume. What could go wrong between logouts and lo ins? how I go about starting nodes if I get these errors after I have installed everything, and all nodes where successful started.(I already uninstalled and installed many time)

Thanks

The warn message is:exit code: 1 -- "ssh" "localhost.localdomain" " ps aux | awk '{ print $2 }' | grep '\b25107\b'"
the possible reason maybe user killed procecss manually with -9

    http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21587785

    Hi,

    Have you checked $BIGINSIGHTS_VAR/flume (i.e. /var/ibm/biginsights/flume) directory VS. $BIGINSIGHTS_HOME/flume (/opt/ibm/biginsights/flume) ?

    Thanks,

    Zach
