Pinned topic Migration from WAS 6.1 to WAS 8.0

We are currently in the process of migrating from WAS 6.1 to WAS 8.0.I have copied all configuration details I can find from older version of WAS. My listener , data source connection looks fine. The application receives a message from queue but can't process and deliver it. Below is the error from application error log.

2012-07-16 15:52:15,023 73 INFO 344 MessageListenerThreadPool : 0 http://XYZejb.NameOfListner - Received a message with CorrelationIdID:414d5120514d4c4442524b3120202020a736e24f07c61420
2012-07-16 15:52:15,023 100 DEBUG 344 MessageListenerThreadPool : 0 http://XYZejb.NameOfListner - Enter: startCGTSession(String msg, Destination dest, String corId, long expiryPeriod)
2012-07-16 15:52:16,008 113 ERROR 1329 MessageListenerThreadPool : 0 http://XYZejb.NameOfListner - Exception: Unexpected Exception: NameOfListner: Exception is : Some object reference in the name "XYZejb/XYZExecutionServiceHome" relative to the context "MachineName/nodes/MachineNameNode01/servers/server1" is invalid. Some possible causes include a context binding in the name which refers to a destroyed context, or an object binding which contains an invalid EJBHome reference.

The log of Websphere is

Caused by: Unable to perform reference processing for component XYZExecutionService in module XYZEJB.jar in application CGTSERVICE.
... 73 more
Caused by: Failed to process bindings for metadata
... 75 more

Please ask me any question you have. What link I am missing? I am changing drivers from data direct to Microsoft JDBC 4.0 drivers and upgrading WAS. I don't think I will need to change anything in code.

This is the wrong forum for this question. Please repost your question in a WebSphere specific forum and you'll get more responses.
