Pinned topic Blade Center - No Access

‏2012-07-16T17:45:12Z |
On both of my blade center chasis I keep getting no access. After requesting access everything is ok for a period of time and then I lose access again. Is there something I need to do different for the chasis for access?

Check the TCP Command Mode session settings in the AMM. I always recommend setting it to 10.

Thanks Craig. That resolved the access issue. However, the log on the blade center keeps filling up with login audits. Is there anyway to control or not monitor login events.

I think the answer I found from the blade center forum is to uncheck the box "Monitor Log State Events". The log will fill, but write over itself as needed and not send emails that the log is full.

I have this problem with my blade centers as well. When I do a discovery, I get 2 items, one is the actual blade center device, the other is the AMM. I cannot unlock the AMM one, no matter which account I used (domain admin or local account to the AMM).

On the MEP (resource) that you cannot unlock, right-click and select Security --> Configure Access and see what protocols are displayed.

If it is a Server MEP, you should see TCP Command Mode or Secure TCP Command Mode (preferred). You may also (hopefully) see SNMP.

If it is an OS MEP, you may see TELNET and/or SSH.
