Pinned topic memory profiling natively compiled C/C++ applications

I'm finding beautiful pictures of memory profiling in the purify plus documentation complete with memory plots and snapshot points but I'm unable to invoke this capability against my natively compiled C/C++ application. Does the purify memory profiling capability support natively compiled C/C++ applications? I’m invoking my application from the purify plus gui via the File > Run.. mechanism and the buttons that seem to be associated with memory profiling remain disabled.

Sorry, Purify has no memory profiling capability for
natively compiled C/C++ applications. What you're
seeing in the PurifyPlus documentation is specific to
.NET applications. (At one point in time, Purify
also had memory profiling capabilities for Java.)
