Pinned topic ISAM ESSO Regex Engine

Does anyone have a guide to the internals of the 8.2 regex engine handy? I would really love to be able to craft some specific regexes for my sigs, but don't seem to be able to find any documentation on what kind of regexes are acceptable in signatures.

    As far as I know there is no guide. Standard regex that is commonly used in signatures are:

    1. - Case insensitive regex identifier
    ~ - Case sensitive regex identifier

    . - Substitute for any single character
    .* - Substituate for any single character or string

    The html didn't like my formatting...

    It should read:

    Pound sign / Number sign (shift-3) - Case insensitive regex identifier.

    1- With URL(with Multipe Character and Case insensitive)

    @url#"www.xyx.com/(.*)"

    2- With Title (Multiple  Character and Case insensitive)

    @title#"Account: (.* ) Logged In "

    As mentioned above by jtoma if you want to use it with case sensitivity replace #(Number Sign) with ~(Tildot Sign).

    Hope it helps. :)
